	Downsizing Is So Overrated Inside DTS, you'll find the most spacious cabin of any Cadillac sedan. The seats have been carefully designed to offer supreme comfort, yet still provide all the support you require for all-day journeys. The ride is smooth and quiet, thanks to a thoughtful deployment of sound-deadening materials. The controls are logically designed and positioned for easy, almost intuitive operation. DTS also offers a range of electronic amenities, from Bluetooth® mobile phone connectivity to DVD Navigation††, that help make driving both safer and more enjoyable.
Precious Metal Few cars at any price can rival DTS Platinum's blend of spaciousness and sheer, unabashed luxury. On the outside, DTS Platinum is distinguished by a unique chrome grille and chrome 18" wheels. A high-output version of the Northstar V8 and suspension featuring Cadillac's Magnetic Ride Control® technology adds a higher level of performance. The seats are upholstered all around in supple Tuscany leather, and the console and upper instrument panel are wrapped in leather as well. Light ash wood accents, an eight-speaker Bose® audio system and a full slate of premium amenities complete the package.
	Power And Grace Refined muscle — one of the greatest of Cadillac traditions — is central to the DTS experience. The standard powertrain is a 4.6L Northstar V8 tuned to deliver a generous 275 horsepower. Or, if you prefer, there's an available high-output version of the Northstar engine that produces 292 thoroughbred horses. As you would expect, the DTS chassis is equally sophisticated. Steering is by an advanced Magnasteer variable-assist system. The braking system features four-wheel discs along with ABS and dynamic rear proportioning. And the fully independent suspension features StabiliTrak® electronic stability control, for an extra measure of confidence on slippery surfaces.
Premium Materials Fine natural materials help make the DTS cabin an extraordinarily pleasing place to spend time. Nuance leather seating surfaces are standard. Seats fully covered in semi-aniline Tuscany leather are also available, as are seats upholstered in Tehāma leather, a glove-soft material more often used for the best home furnishings. No matter which leather you choose, the perfect accent is the wood trim package, which dresses the instrument panel, doors, steering wheel and transmission shifter in genuine walnut burl.
