Introducing the Cadillac Lyriq - the brand’s first ever all-electric vehicle. Earlier this month, Cadillac revealed the highly anticipated Lyriq Show Car, with a production model expected to follow for the 2023 model year.
Range is expected to be around 300 miles on a single charge, or approximately 482 km. The Lyriq will support Level 2 charging at home up to 19kW and fast-charging rates of up to 150 kW. Cadillac performance DNA is ingrained in this vehicle too, with responsive steering, near-instantaneous torque, and variants that include Rear Wheel Drive and Performance models.
The Lyriq’s interior is just as brilliant as the vehicle’s performance, featuring a curved 33” diagonal LED display with the capacity to display over one billion colours.A Cadillac-exclusive AKG Studio 19-speaker sound system provides immersive audio for all passengers.
Cadillac’s driver-assistance system also makes it way to the Lyriq. Shift into Super Cruise on compatible highways for a truly hands-free experience. Want to take the wheel instead? An augmented reality head-up display features two separate planes of information to help keep your eyes on the road - one showing speed and direction with another showing navigation and alerts.
Although some features and details may change by the time we see the Cadillac Lyriq enter production, it will no doubt be an incredible new offering for any drivers looking to drive a luxurious electric vehicle. Want to learn more? Make sure to contact a Preston Cadillac Sales Consultant.
