The Ford Expedition’s 3.5L, twin-turbo V6 comes close with 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque, but ultimately can’t match GM’s 6.2L V8 on pure power. Despite reduced horsepower with the Expedition, fuel economy is nearly identical to GM’s offerings, also coming in at around 12.4 L / 100 km.
The Tahoe and Yukon easily outclass Nissan’s Armada and its 5.6L V8 engine, which produces 390 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. The Toyota Sequoia also pales in comparison with its 5.7L V8, offering 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of torque. Both offerings from Nissan and Toyota lag behind in fuel economy, offering just 15.7 L / 100 km.
