Winter is on its way out with Spring and Summer approaching here in British Columbia, and that means ample outdoor adventure opportunities on the horizon.
Where will your vehicle take you in 2023? Whether it’s camping, 4x4ing, or just a day trip, our beautiful province is a great place to spend time outdoors. Considering visiting Harrison Lake, just an hour’s drive from our dealership. Located near Agassiz and Hope, Harrison Lake is home to a number of great official, and unofficial, camping spots centered around one of Southern BC’s largest lakes and adjacent to the always popular Hot Springs. If you’re heading off the beaten path and looking to camp, make sure to double check that you are allowed to camp in your preferred spot.
Looking to head off-road or go 4x4ing? The Harrison Lake area is also home to a number of popular trails and roads. Stave Lake, located around 2 hours away from our dealership, is just north of Mission and is also a popular spot for 4×4 enthusiasts. Always make sure you’re prepared for the conditions when heading off-road, and be aware of your surroundings and double check the legality of your route.
Want to venture a little further this Spring or Summer? The Okanagan is home to great camping, beaches, off-roading and more. Kelowna, at the heart of the Okanagan, can be reached in less than four hours from our dealership on a scenic drive via the Okanagan Connector. Penticton, with its sandy beaches and river channel, is a popular summer spot in the Okanagan as well.
Vancouver Island is another excellent hotbed of outdoor activity in BC. Victoria and Nanaimo can be reached in just a few hours as well, with much of your trip spent on a ferry. Once on the island, check out the Comox Valley on the east side of the island for great biking and Tofino on the west side of the island for great surfing.
